Congratulations

Adding a few colorful butterflies to a card helps to finish an otherwise plain card. Heat embossing with white embossing powder on a dark colored card allows your image to stand out.

2 Tag Post It Notes

I used the 2 tag Bigz Die (retired) to cut these mini post it note holders added a little Designer Series Paper and a 3D flower which was made using the same technique as the purse card that I posted the other day. This flower was made with the 1 3/4" scallop punch. I used 7 layers, they are all the same size. Instead of a large brad, use a mini brad in the middle.

Purse Cards with 3D Flowers

3D flowers can really make a project pop. To make these flowers:
-cut out 3 or 4 different sized flowers
-spritz each piece with water and crumple it up
-uncrumple, layer flowers with largest on the bottom to smallest on the top
-add a large brad in the middle
-starting with the top layer, scrunch each layer toward the brad
-once you are satisfied with how your flower looks let it dry, it will harden slightly
This technique can also be used with circles or scallop shapes.
